Mk jojoba Company for the Reclamation of Desert Lands, the pioneer in cultivating the jojoba plant in the Middle East and Africa, announced the launch of 22 natural, medicinal “cosmatic” products of high-quality pure jojoba oil in the local markets, bearing the “Leaprance” brand, after obtaining licenses from the Ministry of Health and international quality and accreditation certificates, After 2,000 acres of its farms entered the production phase.
Engineer Ismail Mohamed, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mk Jojoba GIA Company, revealed that the “Leaprance Natural Cosmetics” company was established as a subsidiary of Mk Jojoba Group specialized in the management, marketing and export of natural cosmetic products from jojoba oil, with a total investment of 50 million pounds.
The Chairman of Mk Jojoba Board of Directors said that the factory that was established aims to put Egypt on the map of the major countries producing and manufacturing jojoba oil in the world, stressing that the company has an ambitious plan to conquer the global markets with Egyptian jojoba oil, which has proven its efficiency globally with its unique qualities according to European and international reports.
The list of "Leaprance" products includes 5 cosmetic products for hair care, 10 cosmetic products for skin and body care, and 7 integrated products for children's care. Jojoba oil is the only global alternative to cod liver oil.
Jojoba oil has some characteristics and components that make it the best globally for all cosmetic products. First, it is similar to the natural oils in hair and skin produced by the human body and is antibacterial and anti-inflammatory. In addition, it contains important vitamins that the body needs most notably (vitamin E, vitamin B, zinc and selenium). The price of one liter exceeds 25 dollars.
Mk Jojoba Group for Desert Land Reclamation has completed the reclamation and cultivation of 2,500 acres of jojoba plants in the Moghra and the New Valley regions and plans to finish planting 5,000 new acres during the next two years with a total investment of more than 500 million pounds. It also owns the largest nursery in the world to produce jojoba seedlings from elected mothers of intensive production, with a production capacity of 5 million seedlings annually, 50% of which are exported to the surrounding markets and 50% to the local market.
